Building the Growth System Behind Heccei Friends
Some of the best client work starts with a brand that's already doing a lot right, and needs the right partner to unlock what's next.
That was Heccei Friends: a calm, gently animated toddler series with real craft behind it, six well-made episodes, and a genuine opportunity to grow into the audience it was built for.
We started with the animation itself. Working from Heccei's existing characters, our team built out a traditionally animated production pipeline, locked character models, a consistent visual library, and a workflow designed to scale sustainably as the series grows. Every frame is hand-crafted animation, built the traditional way.
Then we brought a different kind of tool into the strategy layer. A full channel audit and AI-assisted keyword research uncovered something valuable, a clear, winnable lane in calm, gentle, low-stimulation content, a positioning Heccei's soft animation style was already perfectly built for.
From there, AI-assisted tools helped draft and refine scripts, captions, and metadata at the pace a growing channel needs, always shaped and finalized by a human strategist, never left on autopilot. The opportunity wasn't to change the animation. It was to help it speak the language its audience was already searching for.
We rebuilt the packaging around that insight. New titles, descriptions, and thumbnails anchored to real search demand. A refined content strategy. And a parent-facing paid seeding campaign, engineered to introduce the brand to exactly the right audience.
The campaign now runs at $0.02 per view, with a 66% view rate, meaning two-thirds of the parents who see it choose to keep watching. For an audience just discovering the brand, that's a strong sign the strategy and the content are finally speaking the same language.
Heccei Friends' story is really about what happens when strong creative work and sharp strategy are built to serve each other from day one, not as separate tracks, but as one connected process.
That's what we do at Mango Graphic Design: traditional animation craft, backed by the AI-assisted strategy and content tools that help it find its audience.
